Terms

Last updated: July 26, 2026

Two documents govern Parameter, and they cover different things. The iPhone and Apple Watch app is licensed under Apple's standard end user license agreement. The AI Connector, the service that connects an AI client you choose to your own training data, is covered by the terms on this page.

Effective July 26, 2026

The app

The Parameter iPhone and Apple Watch app is covered by Apple’s standard licensed application end user license agreement, the same agreement that applies to any app installed without a custom licence. You can read it at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. We link Apple’s own copy rather than reproducing it here, so what you read is always the version actually in force.

What the AI Connector does

It passes authorized requests between an AI client you connect and your own private iCloud database. It is not a place your data lives. Read the privacy policy for exactly what it keeps.

Using it

Connect it to your own Apple account, not someone else’s.

Do not attempt to reach another person’s data, and do not attack, probe, or deliberately overload the service.

You can revoke any connected client at any time in the Parameter app, under Settings, AI connection. Automatic rate limits apply to every connection, and traffic that attacks or overloads the service can be blocked at the network level.

Paying for it

The AI connection is a subscription sold through the App Store. Apple handles billing, renewals, and refunds. Cancelling is done in your Apple account settings, and cancelling stops the connection at the end of the paid period.

Plans are not medical advice

Parameter runs the plan your AI writes, and neither the app nor this service reviews that plan for safety. It is not medical advice. If you are managing an injury, a health condition, or a pregnancy, talk with a qualified professional before following a plan, and stop if something hurts.

No warranty

The AI Connector is provided as is. It is a small service run by one person and it can be unavailable, slow, or interrupted. Your training data is never dependent on it: everything stays in your own iCloud account and the app keeps working without it.

Changes

If these terms change, this page and the effective date above change with them.
