Your data: export, delete, revoke
The three controls that make the privacy claims checkable. All free, all in the app.
About 5 minutes
Privacy claims are only worth as much as you can check yourself. These are the controls that make Parameter’s checkable: what you can pull out, what you can wipe, and what happens when you cut an AI off.
1. The export zip
Request an export and you get one zip: your complete workout data as both JSON and CSV, plus a plain-language README explaining the format, so you don’t have to reverse-engineer field names yourself. The export includes archived and soft-deleted workouts, not just whatever is currently visible in your active history. It’s free, it isn’t gated behind a paywall or a support request, and it stays available for as long as your account exists.
2. Delete everything
Delete Everything is one action that removes your profile, your plans, your logged workouts, your equipment list, any connected AI, and your subscription record, from both the iCloud database backing your account and the device itself. There’s no separate copy sitting in a backup or a secondary system for any of it to linger in; once it’s gone from those two places, it’s gone.
3. Revoke an AI
Turning off a connected AI is a Settings → AI Connection → Revoke action, per client. The revocation itself takes effect in about a minute: the AI stops being able to read or write anything to your account almost immediately. The encrypted authorization token behind that connection is deleted from the AI Connector’s infrastructure within hours.
This is the practical version of Parameter’s storage claim: the server holds no workout data of yours, ever, only one encrypted authorization token for the AI you’ve connected, plus limited diagnostic logs kept for support. Revoking removes that token; it was never holding your workouts to begin with.
4. Diagnostics
If something breaks, “Report a problem” opens a share sheet with the diagnostic details already attached, addressed by you. Nothing phones home automatically, ever. A diagnostics report only leaves your device when you choose to send that share sheet yourself, to [email protected].
